She joined Thameswood in September 2007 after getting married that summer, moving to Swindon with her husband and cat Jessie. Since settling here Amy has quickly acquired a cheeky kitten called Thomas (one of Sharon's skip kittens!) who takes great pleasure in scaling the living room curtains and swinging from the ears of her Dobermann puppy 'Bliss'. Amy is currently devoting much of her spare time to decorating her new house, and enjoys walks in the Cotswolds.

After qualifying from Bristol in 2006, Amy went straight into small animal practice and spent her first year at a busy surgery in Nottingham.
