You may have noticed a few new faces in
the clinic over the last few weeks.
Firstly we would like to introduce our
new receptionist at our main clinic.
Laura Holt joined the British Army
straight from as a medic and served just over three years. On leaving, she
took some time out with an extended holiday before working in tele-sales.
Laura has begun her training and currently doing well.
We also have a new Auxiliary nurse
called Kate who hoping to progress to her veterinary nursing training. She
is a Somerset lass and still has her lovely West Country accent. She has
worked in financial services, an air hostess for easy Jet and now is
pursuing her dream job. Kate loves photography so is never far from her
camera and likes to relax with a spot of gardening.
We are increasing our vets from four to
five soon, so will be introducing you to them hopefully next month.
We also have a new office hound called
Milo. He has been adopted by Nick and Giovanna, the owners of the clinic
from Denise Barrett’s animal sanctuary in Grittenham. He is an 18
month old mastiff x boxer with an abundance of energy and a bad habit of
chewing up his toys. Milo is settling in to his new home and
‘office’ very well indeed.
Linzi, our receptionist who left us the
end of last month had a great sending off party. Linzi, who loved getting
down and dirty spent the day with the rest of the Thameswood crew Gorge
walking in South Wales as her farewell trip.
Log on next month for more news.
